Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer, semi-crystalline, obtained by propylene polymerisation. It belongs to polyolefin group and it is used in a wide variety of applications, including food packaging, textiles, laboratory equipment, automotive components and transparent film. It has a great resistance against various chemical solvents, such as alkalis and acyds.
